Your Pre-Wedding Beauty Timeline: What to Book and When

By The Instyle Glamour Team · 28 May 2026

Wedding beauty is all about timing. Book treatments too late and your skin is still settling; leave brows or lashes to the last minute and there’s no room to adjust. Here’s a simple timeline to help you look and feel your absolute best when it counts.

3 months out: start your skin

If you’re planning to get your skin glowing for the day, this is when to begin. Start a course of regular facials — roughly every four weeks — so your skin has time to respond and clear. Three months also gives you a buffer to trial any new treatment well before the wedding, so there are no surprises on the day.

6–8 weeks out: trial your brows and lashes

This is the window to test the look you want. Trial a brow lamination, henna or tint, and if you’re considering lashes, try a lift or a set of extensions now. Trialling early means you know exactly how your brows and lashes will look and last, and you can tweak the shape, colour or style before it matters.

2–3 weeks out: lock in your shape

Now book the treatments that need to look established but fresh. A brow shape with henna or tint, a lash lift or a full set of extensions all sit beautifully in this window — settled in, but with weeks of wear ahead. It’s also a smart time for any waxing you want done well in advance so skin fully calms down.

The final week: the finishing touches

In the last few days, book your final brow tidy and, if you waxed earlier, a top-up so everything is smooth and neat. Our Eye Makeover package — brow thread, lamination, tint, lash perm and tint together — is a popular pre-wedding booking because it refreshes the whole eye area in one sitting. Give skin a day or two to settle after any waxing.

A few last tips

Don’t try anything brand new in the final fortnight — stick to treatments you’ve already trialled. Book ahead, as our busier salons fill up on weekends. And if you’ve got bridesmaids or family joining you, mention it when you book so we can set aside enough time for the group. Then relax — you’ll be glowing.
